Trump's MAHA Commission Report ceremony missed a huge opportunity by not having Secretary of War, Pete Hegseth, and a few of his Generals & soldiers, also sitting at the long ceremony-table
And how I, if I were the President's Chief of Protocol, would have arranged the seating positions of the Secretaries at Trump's long ceremony-table
(This is Part-2; for Part-1, go here)
Trump’s MAHA Commission Report ceremony was held in the White House’s gold ballroom, Thursday.
The symbolism of an official ceremony is all important.
The medium is the message. Speaking of which, I have an overdue homework assignment to read the essay, ‘Within the Context of No-Context; The decline of adulthood’ (Nov 1980), by George Trow.
The symbolism of the ceremony ‘conveys thrusts’ to the illiterate and/or the ignorant. To the literate and/or the learned, they use the symbolism(s) within the ceremony as an opportunity to discuss and judge the decorum and the body languages—to further weigh the ‘thrusts’ being made…
The listener/viewer of the ceremony wants the ceremony’s symbolism and words used to be congruent. Today, many people say ‘being authentic’ as the term to describe that. But, what does the conductor of the the ceremony want? I’ll get to that.
Whether a reporter’s (witness’s) description in words (on rice paper or parchment paper) of the ceremony are transmitted via Pony Express, or are transmitted as 1s and 0s from his Substack Device, he must also describe the ‘medium’ of the ceremony; otherwise, what have we really got, fully?
President Trump embellishes the 1792 Neoclassical White House1 using shades of gold in the ballroom and in the Oval office—Thursday’s ceremony took place in the ballroom, so that more people could be in attendance than, say, the Oval office can hold.
Trump’s choices of the various shades of gold displayed compliment the dark blue and eagle crest of the President’s flag. The golds and the dark blue, taken together as one, projects uplifting, bold, impactful thrusts to the listener/viewer.
The plain & common sense speech of Trump and the Secretaries largely complement the ‘medium’ of the golds and the dark blue. There’s a congruency or a ‘being authentic’ feel. A ‘respect for the office’ reflected in the attire and demeanor of the guests… Excellent ‘table setting’, as they say.
But there are always opportunities to emanate much deeper outward thrusts from the symbolism of the ceremony when the crimes being countered by the ceremony run deeper than most can stomach, or simply don’t see, because they’re in a light trance (through no fault of their own).
At Trump’s MAHA Commission Report ceremony, at the long ceremony-table, Secretary of War, Pete Hegseth, and a few of his Generals, and a field commander, and a Sergeant were not present. This was a huge opportunity missed.
At the ceremony, at the long ceremony-table, from left to right, were:
[...] Secretary of Agriculture, Brooke Rollins President Trump Secretary of Health, Bobby Kennedy Secretary of Education, Linda McMahon Administrator of the Environment, Lee Zeldin [...]

But the symbolism conveyed by those sitting at the long ceremony-table on Thursday, only conveys the representation of the constituents one of the two Kingdoms, namely, the Civilian Kingdom—headed up by Health Secretary Bobby Kennedy, in this case/context.
There is another Kingdom with the full rank & ‘diplomatic’ stature as the Civilian Kingdom; namely, the Military Kingdom. These two Kingdoms are co-equal.2
Those in the Civilian Kingdom and those in the Military Kingdom are both being poisoned—what the MAHA Commission is working towards rectifying… but, what the Military Kingdom also needs to explicitly acknowledge and rectify, too. This is a ‘blind spot’ of the Trump Administration (whether its intentional or unintentional can be debated in the comments).
This ‘blind spot’ deprived Trump’s MAHA Commission Report ceremony a huge amount of thrust.
At the ceremony, at the long ceremony-table, the seating from left to right should have been as follows:
[...] Administrator of the Environment, Lee Zeldin Secretary of Education, Linda McMahon Secretary of Agriculture, Brooke Rollins Secretary of Health, Bobby Kennedy President Trump Secretary of War, Pete Hegseth [General 1] [General 2] [Full-bird colonel (field commander)] (*) [Sergeant Major of the Army] (*) [...] (*) Note: I'm calling it: the Full-bird colonel and the Sergeant Major would wear their battle dress uniforms (or BDUs)
With that line up, sitting at the long ceremony-table, now you would have visceral thrusts emanating!
Can’t you now instantly feel it while the words are trying to catch up with you?
For example, the following would be subconsciously gnawing at some (many) viewers/listeners—they would fixate on it: “The co-equal nature of the two Kingdoms in this context—they’re both at the long ceremony-table, equally”. Note: the previous sentence is placeholder-text to represent the subconscious feelings of their feelings-without-words.
Mainstream ‘reporters’ might try to get out in front and criticize the “co-equal subtext of the two Kingdoms”. Good! Let them!
Other viewers/listeners would fixate on something else. And on and on. Good!
The notion of many types of fixations being present simultaneously is what matters. That’s the bottom line as to what a ceremony needs to invoke.
The end justifies the means. Nothing is perverse about saying this. The context here is the prevention of poisoning of constituents in two Kingdoms.
I sketched out an earlier version of this thesis, here.
Until Pete Hegseth fully comes forward as a co-equal to Bobby Kennedy in these grave matters, when ever Bobby Kennedy speaks, use a moment of that time to say a prayer for those being poisoned in the Military Kingdom:

Designed by James Hoban. Torched by the British on August 24, 1814, during the War of 1812. Rebuilt (on the same plot of land) to the same Neoclassical specs of the original 1792 design. The rebuilding also overseen by James Hoban—starting in 1815. Re-opened again in 1817.
Most people will say that within the American Federalist system, the Military Kingdom is technically subordinate to the Civilian Kingdom. That’s the case but for one major exception: they’re co-equal when it comes to the welfare of their respective constituents. For example, each Kingdom needs to tend to their wounded & their maimed, separately and ‘under their own jurisdiction’.
Bobby Kennedy and Pete Hegseth are the Princes of their respective co-equal Kingdoms of toxic/poisons disguised as so-called ‘medical treatments’ administered to those in their charge.
To force a puncture-wound-hole into consensus reality, they could do so by touring together the front lines of Hegseth’s Kingdom—say, starting with visiting the vets at the VA, and then with visiting the recruits in basic training—showing the vaccine cattle-call lineups the recruits go through… eventually ending their tour in Bobby’s Kingdom with a group of, say, 50 Moms and their ‘stimming’ teenagers.
Image & physicality -wise, those two speaking jointly would create a slew of forceful sound-bites that would spark media frenzies after media frenzies. And it’s that forceful frenzy that’s needed in constant supply to keep the puncture-wound-hole from closing up… Whenever the hole is open, it acts as a forcefield that wakes up a portion of people from their ‘light trances’…
Protocol.
How important in these settings. It is lost on the masses for the most part.
To use protocol wisely takes an individual or a staff section that is educated in the rules, order and subtleties, and that is leveraged in the planning process and the execution of such events.
I was trained in Protocol in 2000, for a mission/rotation into BiH as the Joint Visitors Bureau. This is a Special Staff Section at the Division Level. I was at Division Headquarters when the plans hit the towers. Me the Assistant Division Commander and one of my staff officers watched the event on TV in the Asst Div Cmd office. After that event, all hell broke loose in my office as every swinging Richard General wanted to visit, Tuzla Main, BiH.
